The Space
Originally an outbuilding for housing the horses and carriages of the manor house, it has been lovingly converted to a one bedroom cottage with stunning views across Lake Windermere.
There is a large sitting room / dining room, with a gas log burner and a well equipped kitchen on the first floor. French doors lead onto a small patio looking across the lawns towards Silverholme Manor.
Upstairs there is a wonderfully romantic bedroom with a canopy bed and the views across the lake are framed by pretty stone arched windows. There is an en suite shower room.
When Silverholme Manor is not booked, we are offering this cottage as an exclusive minimum 2 night booking – where you will be able to enjoy the grounds of the Manor house itself and unrivalled access down to the lake side. *PLEASE NOTE ONLY AVAILABLE TO BOOK 2 WEEKS IN ADVANCE* You will also be able to enjoy a host of facilities on the estate, which include an indoor heated swimming pool, the home farm shop and walks and trails with stunning tabletop views of the valleys and local waterways. The cottage is just a 10 minute drive to the historic village of Hawkshead, home to many adored restaurants and pubs.

Just a 2 minute drive to Grubbin’s Point (or 15 minute walk) and Windermere shores, you will have easy access to adventure and activities from your countryside home-from-home. The Manor is just a 10 minute drive from the historic, sweet village of Hawkshead, home to many adored restaurants and pubs.
